"This was the first run of its kind I'd done, as I usually stick to big city half-marathons. It's a completely different atmosphere - no bands or shouting but a quiet and pleasant (though quite challenging) run through the forest. The organization was excellent, and the small field made the start much more comfortable than the kind I'm used to. I'd definitely recommend this race."

What are the Forest Trails?

The new summer season of Saab Salomon’s 10km Forest Trail Runs are aimed at all levels of runner; good club runners will get a buzz from the competitive edge as an addition to one of their midweek runs, whilst those intermediate runners can enjoy an evening doing what they enjoy best. The novice trail runner will find the course a comfortable balance of hills and flat with a little bit of muddiness thrown in, and of course lots of beautiful scenery!

The 3km runs are aimed at beginners and younger runners from age 7 upwards and will be on good, solid trails which are the perfect introduction to the fun of off road running.

Race Timing System

The entry fee includes your race timing chip, which will be retrieved from you after both races at the finish area. Your number will be sent in advance and you will collect your number on the day from race registration. Please secure your chip round your ankle with the tape provided.

Price of Entering

Each race is £13 for the 10km and £7 for entry to the 3km Fun Run.
